Balrampur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Saturday that the Saryu Nahar National Project's completion is a monument to good intentions and hard effort.
PM Modi remarked at the launch of the Saryu Nahar National Project in Balrampur: "It is critical for the country's development that water scarcity does not become a roadblock. The proper use of river water is the government's foremost priority. The Saryu Nahar National Project's accomplishment is a testament to good intentions and hard labour."
The Prime Minister stated that one of the government's top responsibilities is to ensure that the water in the country's rivers is properly utilised and that enough water reaches the farmers' fields.
PM Modi stated that the project's cost when it began was less than Rs 100 crore. It was completed today after a cost of almost 10,000 crores. The country has already paid 100 times more as a result of previous governments' carelessness.
He went on to say that his government has completed more work on the Saryu canal project in less than five years than it took five decades to complete. "This is a government with two engines. This is the double engine government's work pace; our top priority is to complete the project on schedule "Added he. He said that the double engine government had finished long-delayed projects such as the Baan Sagar Project, the Arjun Sahayak irrigation project, AIIMS, and the fertiliser plant in Gorakhpur.
He also mentioned the Ken Betwa Link project as an example of the government's dedication. In the most recent cabinet meeting, the Rs 45000 crore project was approved. He stated that the project will be critical in resolving the water crisis in the Bundelkhand region.
