Experienced Sharath Kamal and G Sathiyan are among the players retained by their respective franchises ahead of the fourth season of the Ultimate Table Tennis (UTT) league. Defending champions Chennai Lions retained 10-time national champion Sharath while third season's runners-up Dabang Delhi TTC retained Sathiyan.

India's star women's player Manika Batra will once again be seen playing for Bengaluru Smashers while Asian Games bronze medalist Manav Thakkar has been retained by U Mumba TT. Six teams will participate in the upcoming season which include Bengaluru Smashers, Chennai Lions, Dabang Delhi TTC, Goa Challengers, Puneri Paltan Table Tennis and U Mumba TT.

In the recent coach draft for the fourth season of UTT, each franchise has also been given an opportunity to choose 2 coaches. Now all eyes are on the player draft for the fourth season to be held in Mumbai next month, in which a team of six players is going to be formed. There will be 40 players available in the draft, out of which each team can choose two overseas (one male and one female) and four Indian (two male and two female) players. The league is scheduled to be held from July 13 to 30 at the Balewadi Sports Complex in Pune.
