Many Bollywood celebs often remain in discussions on social media about their personal lives or films. Meanwhile, Kunal Khemu appeared on the big screen 27 years ago as a child artist. After that, 15 years ago, he became a hero from the film 'Kalyug'. The film 'Malang' released earlier this year was considered his comeback film, and now the movie 'Lootcase' is considered as the favorite comedy movie of this season.
During the media interview, Kunal said, "You will not believe, but I chose acting myself. At that time we were in Srinagar, and both my parents (Jyoti and Ravi Khemu) used to play in the Doordarshan show 'Gul Gulshan Gulfam'. When we came to Mumbai, the director of the same show Ved Rahi was making another show 'Chitra Kathayan'. There was a story of mother and son in this. From there my role started, my mother was also with me in that serial. When 'Hum Hain Rahi Pyaar Ke' film was being made, someone talked to my father about me. I was watching the movie 'Dil' at my aunt's house in Delhi."
He further said, "After that, my father called and asked if I wanted to become an actor, so I said yes. From here, my relationship with Bhatt sahib (Mahesh Bhatt) also flourished. As a child artist I did only a few movies, because then it was not my professional. Perhaps my parents too would have thought then that I would grow up to be something like a doctor or an engineer. I too did not know what I was going to do. But when I got work in the film 'Jakhm', I felt that as an actor I should give myself an opportunity. After that, I did theater for five years before coming to films and I got full support of my family in this and with this my career started."
