Former world number one shooter Saurabh Chaudhary of UP dominated the men's 50m pistol national selection trials at the Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range here on Tuesday, winning three gold and a bronze medal in the senior and junior categories. Asian Games and Youth Olympic champion Saurabh has also won gold medals in men's and junior men's 50m pistol T4 in the selection trials three and four of pistol events on day 5. He also won bronze in men's T3 and gold medal in junior men's T3 event.

Tokyo Olympics finalist Saurabh shot 562 in the T4 series of 60 shots to overtake Indian Navy's Kunal Rana, who has collected 555 points. With the same score in the junior men's event, he surpassed Punjab's Arjun Singh Cheema, who scored 547.

Saurabh had earlier finished third in the men's T3 event behind Air Force veteran Gaurav Rana and Rajasthan's Om Prakash Mitherwal. Gaurav won gold with 553 points, Om Prakash won silver with 553 points while Saurabh won bronze with 552 points.
