Shahdol: From today Sawan has started. Devotees started visiting Shahdol's Kalchuri Kalin cave temple on the first Monday of the month of Sawan. Due to the corona infection, the crowd is not visible here, but the process of the arrival of devotees in the temple from 6 am onwards has continued. At the same time people, including family, arrived to worship and see Lord Shiva. The cave temple was built about 1200 years ago by the Kalchuri period kings. The building of this temple is made of big stones. While the back part of the temple is slightly sunken in the ground.

Also, this Shiva cave temple, located at the end of the border of Shahdol-Umaria district, has become a center of faith for Shiva devotees. Devotees continue to visit here. Special worship is done here on Sawan Monday, the priest Narmada Prasad says about this time that the snake still comes here to see Lord Bholenath.

For your information, let us tell you that devotees are constantly reaching to worship and visit the Shivling located in the Shahdol Pandava carpet Virat temple. Here, due to corona, people have come down very little, but by 11 am, around 600 devotees have come to visit. Due to the corona, people are not gathering crowds, they are visiting after following physical distance, masks are also seen on people's faces.
