Hyderabad: Brahmarshi Samaj Hyderabad Women's Wing organised a get-together on Sunday. On the other hand, the chairperson of the Women's Wing, Mrs Ragini Sinha said in a press release on Monday that 'all activities have stopped due to the corona epidemic. Therefore, seeing the situation, the Brahmarshi Women's Wing planned to organize a virtual Sawan Milan this year.
Not only Hyderabad but Brahmarshi women from different parts of the country like Pune, Bengaluru, Kolkata etc. participated. Dr Ahilya Mishra co-ordinator a senior member of the society and a well-known litterateur, joined as Chief Guest. Ragini Sinha showed the outline of the program to the members present. Reflecting the design, she said, "Because of Corona, we are having to do Sawan Milan online this year because it is not safe to go out."
After this, she introduced all the members to each other. Apart from this, the Vice President of the society, Smt. Sudha Rai, while offering flowers at the reception of the chief guest and members, said that 'we are fortunate that we are able to see each other today. It is necessary to connect with each other even if we are not near. Keeping the Indian culture in mind, women should participate in the program with full enthusiasm as per the occasion of Sawan.
