ATM robberies have become more common in recent days, as made evident by the looting of another State Bank of India ATM corner in Nagaon's Raha on Monday. As per police, the incident occurred in the early morning hours of Monday.According to Superintendent of Police Anand Mishra, the robbery occurred around 3:30 a.m., according to the initial investigation.

The police are looking for clues in the CCTV footage and, according to Mishra, the offenders will be immediately arrested soon. He stated that the machines had been looted with gas-cutters. The exact amount of money looted, however, has yet to be determined.

The thieves reportedly robbed three machines from the corner, according to a local, and this was the first time such an incident had occurred in the area. A group of unidentified people stole two State Bank of India ATMs in Bongaigaon's Barpara last week, stealing more than Rs 40 lakh.As per the data given to them, the theft was carried out by five to six men.

The men had unplugged the CCTV wires before the work, according to the police, and an ATM monitoring team in Hyderabad had alerted the police about the tampering. The robbers had already fled the scene with the money when the officers arrived, said police.
