New Delhi: A big news has come for customers of the country's largest public sector bank SBI. In fact, SBI has made major changes in bank rules to protect customers. Under this change, customers can now log in only from the phone whose mobile number will be registered with the bank on SBI's Yono application. This means that you can no longer avail of bank service from any number.

The bank is said to have taken this step to protect customers from online banking fraud. Tell all of you that SBI offers facilities to your customers from time to time. In view of the increasing number of online fraud cases these days, this new upgrade has been added to the Yono app. This will not only give customers a safe banking experience but will also prevent them from falling prey to online fraud. The bank recently took to its official Twitter handle to say that customers should use the same phone as their registered mobile number with the bank for new registration.

This means that SBI will no longer allow Yono account holders to make any transactions when they try to log in with another number. Also, under this new rule, you can no longer log in to the app through any phone, whereas earlier customers could log in from any phone. From now on, you can use the YONO facility from the mobile where your registered mobile number will remain. The bank says it is expanding security facilities for customers through it.
