Supreme Court asks this to Yogi government regarding poster on roads

The Supreme Court of Uttar Pradesh Government has started hearing on the petition filed against the decision of Allahabad High Court. The High Court had ordered the removal of the posters planted in the city of the accused of violence and sabotage in Lucknow. Against which the UP government has reached the Supreme Court. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta is presenting the favor on behalf of the UP government.

The top court found that the UP government had taken this (drastic) step to give details of the alleged arsonists on hoardings. The court said that it can understand the restlessness of the state but it has no law to withdraw the verdict. Tushar Mehta said that a man who wields a gun during a demonstration and is allegedly involved in violence cannot claim the right to privacy. Solicitor General Tushar said in the court that there was a mistake while passing the order from Allahabad High Court.

Justice Anirudh Bose asked Tushar Mehta where is that right? Under which the UP government has taken action against the alleged arsonists against the citizenship law in Lucknow. The Supreme Court told the Uttar Pradesh government that at present there is no law that supports your action. The court asked the Uttar Pradesh government whether it had the authority to put such posters. The Supreme Court said that it is very important. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta said that the right to privacy has many dimensions.
