Hollywood: Scarlett Johansson Confirmed for Next Jurassic World Movie

Scarlett Johansson has officially announced her role in the next Jurassic World film, putting an end to speculation about her involvement. The actress, best known for her portrayal of Black Widow in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, shared her excitement and long-held aspiration to join the popular franchise.

According to a report from Hollywood Indstrry, the new film, which is still untitled, will be directed by Gareth Edwards, the director behind "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story." The screenplay is written by David Koepp, one of the original writers of Jurassic Park, who is returning to the series nearly three decades later. Johansson expressed her enthusiasm for the script and Koepp's work, highlighting his passion for the project.

"The script is incredible," Johansson said. "David Koepp wrote it. He came back after almost 30 years to write this script. His enthusiasm is contagious."

Joining Johansson in the cast are Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Jonathan Bailey, and Rupert Friend, adding to the film's diverse lineup. The movie is currently in production and is set for release on July 2, 2025.
