Rikangpio: The future of dozens of students is at stake due to the shabby building of the government primary school in Jani village of Kinnaur.  The building of Jani village primary school has been damaged due to heavy snowfall this winter. In view of the dilapidated condition of the building, about 35 students studying in primary school have been shifted to the adjoining middle school as there is no untoward incident with the students and there is no disruption of studies.

School is so student studying

According to information, about 55 students are already studying in middle school. Middle School Jani has a total of 4 rooms. A room in which the school office has a computer in one room. In two rooms, about 90 students from 1st to 8th class are forced to study. It is not that the State Government and the administration are not aware of that.

No action

Simultaneously, the local rural, Jani Panchayat, School SMC and School Administration have already informed the Deputy Director, Department of Elementary Education, Kinnaur, SSA, Deputy Commissioner Kinnaur in writing. But no action has been taken so far about the construction of the school building and other alternative solutions. Now, a memorandum has been submitted to Deputy Commissioner Kinnaur Gopal Chand.
