Lucknow: Amid the decline in coronavirus cases, the Yogi government has decided to reopen schools and colleges in the state. In UP, orders have been issued to open schools and all colleges for classes 9th to 12th from February 7. According to the order issued by Uttar Pradesh Additional Chief Secretary Avneesh Awasthi, schools and all colleges for classes 9th to 12th will be opened from February 7 till further orders following the corona rules.
In view of the corona crisis, offline studies were stopped, due to which there were instructions by the government to keep all educational institutions closed till February 6 along with the cancellation of the semester examination of the college university. The semester exam dates will be announced only after the offline classes are started.
Under the centre's guidelines, it will be mandatory to keep the school premises clean, follow social distancing and wear masks. In addition, the entire staff and teachers should be vaccinated with both doses of vaccination. At the same time, schools from 9th to 12th standard will also be opened from February 07 in the country's capital Delhichali in a phased manner. Teachers who have not been vaccinated will not be allowed to come to school. The decision has been taken in view of the ever-decreasing positivity rate and the statistics of infection cases based on the advice of experts.
