Mumbai: Schools for children from class 1 to 12 have been started in Mumbai amid the corona epidemic after the long wait. From today (Monday) i.e. 24th January, all government and private schools have been approved to organize offline clocks, children have been called to schools with strict security protocols. However, parental consent will be mandatory for this.

It may be recalled that during the first and second waves of the corona, the virus has caused the most havoc in Mumbai and Maharashtra. The school was closed to protect children from the threat of corona throughout the state. The school was first opened on December 15 after seeing the condition improve, but when Maharashtra, including Mumbai, saw a sharp increase in covid cases, schools were closed back from January 04. After 15 days, schools in Mumbai have now been reopened.

The school has BMC alert about protocol and safety and preparations have also been made for the threat of omicron. A lot of preparations were made for the children for this day at the government school in the Dharavi area. The children were welcomed in a warm manner on the school campus. As soon as the children arrived, they were made to stand with social dispensing, as well as their aarti.
