Schools re-open in Chhattisgarh amid COVID-19 curfew relaxations

India unlock is going quite well with relaxations in COVID-19 restrictions. In this unlock phase, some schools in Raipur re-opened on Monday for classes 10th and 12th. Students are expressing their happiness to go back to school after a long time. 

Schools and educational institutions have been closed for a really long time. Some schools are still closed and are willing to open schools after the estimated third wave. The decision to re-open government and private schools with 50 percent attendance across the state. The resuming of classes 10th and 12th was discussed at a recent cabinet meeting chaired by Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. Educational institutions in the state were shut due to the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Meanwhile, Chhattisgarh has reported 1002222 COVID-19 cases till now, where 13525 deaths and 986778 recoveries have been recorded. Active cases in the state remain 2000.
