Dr. Randeep Guleria, director of All India Institute of Medical Sciences AIIMS said that the school in India Should be reopened in a staggered way not sudden, saying that it will be safe and holistic for the child's development. 'There, now it's time to shut virtual classes and schools should be reopened,' he said

However, Dr. Guleria suggested that the school should be reopened where the positivity rate is below 5 percent. "Schools can be immediately shut if surveillance hits at the spread of infection. Bur districts should explore the option of bringing children to schools on alternative days and plans other ways of staggering reopening," the renowned pulmonologist and member of Indian Task Force on Covid -19 said

Let us tell you that most schools in the country have been shut since the first nationwide lockdown was imposed in March to restrain the virus spread. Since then the virtual classes are being held across the nation. Last year the central govt has planned to reopen the schools but the decision was withdrawn soon after due to coronavirus.
