Schools to reopen soon in West Bengal, CM Mamata announces date

Kolkata: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has announced the reopening of schools and colleges closed due to the Corona virus epidemic. She has directed chief secretary HK Dwivedi to prepare for starting the school during an administrative meeting held in Siliguri.

Cm Mamata was on a visit to North Bengal on Sunday and made the announcement while holding an administrative meeting with administrative officials in Siliguri on Monday. The classes will start from class IX to XII first while the decision to open the school for the students of the class below will be taken later. CM Banerjee has directed the chief secretary that the 'Duare Sarkar' will resume from November 15. Since schools will remain open and beacause of this schools were instructed not to do 'Duare Sarkar'.

CM Banerjee has directed the chief secretary to clean schools and colleges and ensure that facilities for government projects are provided under the 'Duare Sarkar'. She had talked about opening a school after Durga Puja in the month of August. It has already been announced. The entire school will be sanitized only hen it will be opened. But this will happen when the third wave does not come.
