Scientists have developed a working heart tissue on the spinach leaves, this experiment was done to solve the issue of blood transportation. Scientists are working in improving the current bioengineering technology.

This time researchers decided to turn towards the natural process and developed a working tissue on the leaf, this process s called decellularization, which is processed with the help of detergents.

As per the reports, researchers said, "Plants and animals exploit fundamentally different approaches to transporting fluids, chemicals, and macromolecules, yet there are surprising similarities in their vascular network structures."

Researchers further reported, "The development of decellularised plants for scaffolding opens up the potential for a new branch of science that investigates the mimicry between plant and animal."
