Ayodhya: A piece of Big news is coming out about the Ram temple being built in Ayodhya, UP. After the deadline for the construction of the ground floor of Ram Janmabhoomi temple was fixed in October 2023, now preparations have started to complete the construction of the idol of Ramlala on time. The statue of Ramlala will be built in a five and a half feet high standing posture. For this, the search for Shaligram Stone has been completed.

Kameshwar Chaupal, a member of the temple trust, was sent from the Gandaki river area of Nepal to arrange this stone. He said that a 7 feet x 5 feet size Shaligram rock has been extracted. It will be worshiped in Janakpur on January 27 with full rituals. After worship and glorification by saints and seers, the Shaligram statue will be brought from Janakpur to Ayodhya. Madhubani-Darbhanga route has been chosen to bring it.

During the pilgrimage, it will be worshiped and welcomed in Darbhanga, Madhubani, Motihari, Gopalganj and Gorakhpur temples. Thereafter, the Shaligram stone will be brought to Ayadhya. Kameshwar Chaupal told that the Yatra of Shaligram Shila will start from Janakpur on the day of Basant Panchami i.e. January 27. It is expected to reach Ayodhya by February 2. He told that when the people of Nepal came to know that the deity of Ramlala would be made from this rock, there was a lot of enthusiasm among them. Kameshwar Chaupal said that this Shaligram rock is very expensive. However, it has been acquired through the courtesy of the Government of Nepal. This Shaligram rock has religious significance. It is believed to be the abode of Lord Shri Vishnu. It is said about the stone and statue of Shaligram that there are 6 types of benefits- Happy life, prosperity, protection from evil forces, good health, joy, and God's grace.
