Remake the Tamil blockbuster ‘Vikram Vedha’ which gained a huge box office collection will be going to start soon and the Tollywood star Venkatesh is very much interested in the remake but still he is finding the right setting to take up the project. A source close to the seasoned star claims that, “these kind of cult and realistic movies need to be remade with proper homework and not to be rushed in”.

Although, the lead actors Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi and the Directors Pushkar and Gayathri had been very much appreciated by the Venky for making a very strong action adventure.

Source further stated, “It is true that he watched the Tamil version a couple of times. He also wanted to remake it, provided he gets the right setting. Actually, the whole film revolves a slum lord and Tamil movie buffs connect with such settings. Whereas, the Telugu viewers are unfamiliar with such surroundings, so Venkatesh is in two minds. He doesn’t want to repeat the mistake he has done 15 years ago with ‘Gemini’ (remake of Tamil film ‘Gemini). He will find a solution sooner than later”.

The upcoming ‘Vikram Vedha’ will be giving a new way for ‘Mallishwari’ star to chart a new path, but the 50-plus-stars are looking beyond their comfort zone.
