Prior to the quarterly results of Dr. Reddy Laboratories, a message was circulated in many WhatsApp communities, this message said that in the quarter results of this time the company will face a deficit. Insider trading In view of this big case, SEBI has decided to investigate this.   

Dr. Reddy's results on the WhatsApp was leaked 1 day in advance, in which over 50 crore loss was shown. While Dr. Reddy's showed a loss of 58 crores after 3 days revealing such mishap.  According to media reports, the results of the companies were leaking on the WhatsApp group before the company's quarterly results.

“We will certainly investigate the issue. It is a work in progress,” Tyagi, chairman of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi), told Reuters, when asked what action the regulator was considering.

Investigations by a news agency have shown that many messages were sent to companies a few hours ago or some days before the issue was issued. It is possible that such messages have been predicted only and the figures have been proved right. However, some of the figures also get out of the wrong.

According to the SEBI investigation media reports, results of at least 12 companies have been leaked before the formal announcement. This is an open violation of SEBI's insider trading rules. The results of SEBI companies will examine the leak.
