Bengal become Second Kashmir, terrorists being arrested every day: Dilip Ghosh

Kolkata: West Bengal BJP unit chief Dilip Ghosh said on Wednesday that Bengal has become "second Kashmir", as terrorists are being arrested every day and illegal bomb-making factories are exposed every day. The ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) attacked Ghosh for these comments and said that he should pay attention to the BJP-ruled Uttar Pradesh, where the rule of law has ceased to exist.

It is noteworthy that Ghosh said during the 'Cha-Chakra' (Chai Par Charcha) program in Birbhum district, "West Bengal has become the second Kashmir. Everyday terrorists are being arrested in the state and every other day illegal bomb-making factories are being busted. There is only one factory operating here - bomb-making factory."

TMC leader Kunal Ghosh said in a statement, "With the connivance of outsiders, Dilip Ghosh is trying to tarnish the image of West Bengal. Before commenting on the state of the state, he should look towards the BJP-ruled Uttar Pradesh, where the rule of law has ceased to exist."
