Hyderabad: The second railway line between Hyderabad and Mahabubnagar will be completed and will be available by next June. New trains will start from Hyderabad to Bangalore and Tirupati soon. This is the main route to Bangalore. Due to the single line, it is not possible to run more trains on this route. That is why premium class trains like Theni, Guntakal, Rajdhani and Mahabubnagar run.

Bangalore is 50 km from Mahabubnagar. This is the main road to Tirupati. Currently, there are five major trains from Hyderabad to Tirupati, which are on every route due to traffic congestion. After the completion of the double work in Secunderabad-Mahabubnagar, tirupati will have some more trains available on this route. The railway considers Tirupati as an attractive place because of the large number of passengers. Railway officials said they were soon ready to run some more trains.

The distance from Hyderabad to Mahabubnagar is 100 km. For this reason, many employees and other small traders go to Hyderabad regularly. Hundreds of passengers fill it in express trains every day. That is why there is a demand for shuttle services between Hyderabad and Mahabubnagar. Officials say that some shuttle services are likely to run after double work is completed.

The gradual industrial cluster at Shadnagar and Jadhar will benefit from doubling the railway line. Railway connectivity is also important in the infrastructure of industrial areas. The railway route is necessary for the movement of goods and the movement of workers. This type of doubling is also important. In the latest budget, Rs 100 crore has been allocated for these doubling works. The project will be completed with this amount.

Due to the high subsidy in rail fares, train ticket fares are lower than bus fares. The railways are suffering huge losses due to these subsidies. But it is overcoming the disadvantages of freight. That is why the Modi government has been giving priority to freight from the beginning. In 2010, the new route between Manjarai and Bhadrachalam-Sattupalli was intended to transport coal completely. The company is making new discoveries in the form of a shrinking of reserves in old coal mines. New mines will be dug towards Sattupalli at Ikram. In view of this, the railways demanded a new way of coal transportation.

The long line is being constructed as a joint project at a cost of about Rs 704 crore. The work is going on fast with an allocation of Rs 520 crore in the last budget. Another Rs 267 crore has been put in place to complete the work till this year. Trains running up to Bhadrachalam Road can now reach Sattupalli. This will remove the barriers in coal transportation. At the same time it is proposed to expand from Sattupalli in Andhra Pradesh to Covevoor in the future. Then it will be the main route for passenger trains.
