Jaipur: The Congress government led by Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot has issued a decree to impose Section 144 in Ajmer district of the state ahead of Hindu festivals. The decree advises not to put up religious symbols during events. Neeraj Jain Hindustani, former national vice president of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) and deputy mayor of Ajmer Municipal Corporation, shared the circular issued by the district administration of Ajmer on his Twitter. He compared Congress rule to Mughal Raj.

In the circular issued by the Ajmer administration, it has been said that, 'It has been conveyed by the SP of Ajmer that during religious purposes to be organized in Ajmer district, flags with religious symbols are public property, such as community buildings / rest houses, An attempt is made to disturb the communal harmony by affecting the law and order situation by an individual or group of persons by putting up public parks, crossroads/tirahas, electric/telephone poles etc. or on the property of any other person with competent approval. There is a possibility of breach of public peace and adversely disrupting law and order and social harmony.

In this circular issued in the name of Ajmer DM Deep Ansh, it has been said that this ban will continue for the next one month from Thursday (7 April 2022). During this, if any person or group violates this order, then necessary action will be taken against them.
