Srinagar: The situation in Jammu and Kashmir is also worsening due to the increasing number of corona infection cases, where 45 lives have been sacrificed for corona infection in the last 48 hours. Srinagar is the most affected district where 1144 people have been infected with a corona in the last 24 hours. In view of the increasing number of infections, the Srinagar district administration has announced the imposition of Section 144 in the capital Srinagar.

Now five or more people have been banned from gathering in one place. According to Srinagar Deputy Commissioner Ejaz Asad, the administration has taken the decision to save lives and prevent the spread of infection carriers following record corona infection cases. After which many markets and malls have been closed since Wednesday and fines have also been levied on rule breakers.

Citing the administration's decision to impose Section 144, the Jammu and Kashmir Wakf Board has closed several mosques, mines, and ziarats to the general public. Jammu and Kashmir Wakf Board Chairman Mufti Farid issued a video statement urging people to pray at home.
