Lucknow: Prohibitory orders under Section 144 have been implemented in Lucknow on December 1 due to suspicion of anti-social elements breaching the peace on the occasion of Kartik Purnima and Gyarvi Sharif. The prohibition under section 144 has been implemented in Uttar Pradesh's capital Lucknow till December 1.
Joint Commissioner of Police Naveen Arora has talked about this. He says that various political parties and other individuals are likely to hold demonstrations in Lucknow, which could adversely affect peacekeeping. Not only this but he also says that peace can be disturbed by anti-social elements on the occasion of Gyarvi Sharif on November 27 and Kartik Purnima and Guru Nanak Jayanti on November 30, which is suspected to spoil the atmosphere. In view of this, prohibitory orders will continue in Lucknow till December 1.
It said that if it is violated, action will be taken under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code. After the implementation of Section 144, the gathering of crowds is not being allowed at any place. The wave of corona has increased at this time, so everyone is being advised to apply a mask to protect it. Fines are also being imposed for not wearing masks. Earlier, the fine for not wearing masks in Delhi has been increased from 500 to 2000.
