Srinagar: During the Coronavirus epidemic in the country, continuous encounters are continuing in many areas of Jammu and Kashmir. Now recently there was an encounter between security forces and terrorists in Gosu area of Pulwama here on Tuesday morning. It is being told that during this ongoing encounter in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir, a terrorist has been killed.

According to the information given by the Kashmir Zone Police, the police and security forces are jointly carrying out this operation. Here two to three terrorists were reported to be hiding, on the basis of which action was taken against the terrorists and a search operation was started. It is noteworthy that before this, unknown terrorists attacked the Delina police post with a grenade on Monday evening. Giving information in this regard, SSP Abdul Qayoom had said that, the grenade thrown by the terrorists had exploded outside and there was no loss in the blast. After this grenade attack, the police sealed the entire area. Security was further cemented and attackers were being searched everywhere. However, who carried out the attack is yet to be ascertained.

Let us tell you that in the Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir, on Saturday, two Hizbul Mujahideen militants were killed in an encounter with security forces, while an army soldier was injured. In this regard, the police officer said that the security forces carried out a siege and search operation after receiving intelligence about the hideout of militants in Ara area of Kulgam district in South Kashmir.
