New Delhi: About 5 times more security personnel will be deployed for the first time in the public meeting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi coming to inaugurate the Atal Tunnel Rohtang of strategic importance on October 3. According to the arrangements made by the State Police, SPG and BRO, more than one thousand security personnel will be deployed at all the program sites. PM Modi is the first to address the public meeting in Sissu. After which a public meeting is scheduled to be held in Solanganala during the inauguration of the Tunnel.

200 people will attend both the programs of Prime Minister Modi, but every 2 people can have one security personnel at every venue. Gazetted officers will be responsible for the security of all the venu. The SPG is handling the security of the PM, in such a situation, he is also going to cross-check all the security arrangements of the police. It has been learned that besides Lahaul-Spiti and Kullu district police, the battalions personnel and commandos will be deployed. In addition, more than two dozen gazetted police officers can also be posted.

PM Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Atal Tunnel Rohtang on October 3. CM Jairam Thakur will be on a 2-day stay in Lahaul-Spiti and Kullu district on Wednesday and Thursday to take stock of all arrangements regarding PM's visit. Deputy Commissioner Dr. Richa Verma said that CM will reach Sissu Helipad of Lahaul-Spiti at 10 am on Wednesday.

Hewill reach the North Portal of Rohtang by road from Sissu Helipad at 10.15 am. At 11.15 am, by road, will reach Circuit House Manali at 12 noon, where he will have a meeting with the officials. During this, the Chief Minister will review the arrangements for the PM's visit. CM's night stay will be at the Circuit House in Manali. Thursday, 9:00 am will leave from CM Circuit House Manali for Sasay Helipad. He will fly to Shimla at 9.15 am.
