Bijapur: 22 soldiers were killed in the Naxalite attack in Bijapur, Chhattisgarh. In fact, the armed forces had received intelligence that a large Maoist commander is hiding there, after which they reached the area. In this attack in Bijapur, the Naxalites had made a 'U' shape of the Armed Forces to implicate the security forces. Even those 'secret information' had been conveyed to the armed forces. After this, as soon as the security forces reached the area, the Maoists attacked them from three sides.

The Maoist attack was led by Madavi Hidma, the notorious commander of 'Battalion No.1' of the banned outfit, which the police have been looking for for many years. He mobilized 300 Naxalites with him and evacuated 3 villages in the area. The jawans were deliberately taken to a forested area. By the time the jawans came to know about this, they were trapped in the trap and we're not even in the right position geographically.

It was a place where there were hills on both sides and Naxalites attacked. Neither could the jawans flee nor was their counterattack being overpowered. When the soldiers tried to return from there, they were surrounded by Naxalites. Tell us about the 'U shape array' that there is only one place to get out of it - the path from where you have entered the array. Jeeragaon, which is surrounded by hills on 3 sides and while returning, was fired indiscriminately at the jawans, in which 22 soldiers died and more than 30 were injured.
