Recently Karan Johar posted a picture of himself shaking hands with honorable PM Narendra Modi on his Instagram and wrote, "It was enlightening to hear the honourable Prime Minister @narendramodishare his views on our Industry’s soft power status and the strength of our cinema...he gave our media and entertainment representatives a patient and solid hearing....thank you Sir!!"

After Akshay Kumar also did the same as well. He captioned, "Heartfelt thank you to the honorable Prime Minister @narendramodiji for taking out time to hear us at length, discuss issues pertaining to our industry and assuring positive consideration of suggestions."

Besides them  Ajay Devgn, Prasoon Joshi, Siddharth Roy Kapur, Rakesh Roshan, Ronnie Screwvala and Mahaveer Jain were also present at the meeting with PM Modi. Now the question is what exactly they discussed with the Prime Minister.

Mumbai Mirror reveals that it was a joint effort to come forward and address issues for seeking solutions from the Prime Minister directly. Sources added that PM Modi acknowledged that films are being recognized internationally and agreed that filmmakers are no less important than nation-builders. PM Modi has assured the delegation that he will work towards setting up a special committee to look into the Hindi Film industry matters and address them without delay.
