This year, Chef Actor Saif Ali Khan made his debut in the world of web series with the show Sacred Games. The web series had also brilliant stars Nawazzuddin Siddiqui, Radhika Apte and Pankaj Tripathi in key roles. For unversed Sacred Games was India's first-ever original web series on Netflix and received enthusiastic reviews from the critics and the audience. In this Saif Ali Khan played the role of a cop named Sartaj Singh, while Nawaz played the villain and ruthless gangster Ganesh Gaitonde. It is directed by Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane. People loved the show for its suspense, thriller and spine-chilling moments.

Last month ahead of the Me Too movement, the show's writer Varun Grover was accused of sexual miss conduct by an unidentified woman. However, Varun deprived of all the allegations and was even ready to take a legal route against this . But with no reaction from the girl regarding the same, many assumed that he was wrongly accused. Since then, there have been various reports of Sacred Games 2 being in trouble. Though, Netflix confirmed that season 2 is happening and actor Saif Ali Khan has started shooting for the show in Mumbai. One of the Twitter users shared a picture of Saif in his Sartaj Singh avatar when he was shooting in a college.
