Skipper Virat Kohli, who recently led the Indian cricket team to a remarkable 137 runs- win at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) in the Boxing day Test against Australia, spent the New Year's eve with his love interest and wify Anushka Sharma in Sydney, Australia. Kohli  shared photographs with Anushka from the city and also sent out good wishes for his million fans across the world at the begin of 2019.

“Happy New Year to everyone back home and all over the world, all the way from Australia. Have a wonderful year ahead God bless everyone,” Kohli tweeted.

Worth mention here Kohli and Anushka had jetted off  for Sydney on Monday to spend the New Year together.

On Monday also Kohli had posted another snap with Anushka as he captioned, “Off to Sydney. Looking forward to the new years eve with my one and only. @AnushkaSharma.”

 Besides Kohli and Anushka , several members of the Indian team were also spotted exploring Australia in the New Year's eve together.

Virushka tied the knot in a hush-hush ceremony in December 2017.

 It is noted that in Kohli’s captaincy, the Indian cricket team has won two matches in the ongoing Test series against Australia and has taken a 2-1 lead in the four-match series.
