Bangalore: The Karnataka High Court on Tuesday delivered its verdict on the hijab controversy. The court dismissed all the petitions related to the hijab controversy. The High Court said that the hijab is not an essential part of the religion of Islam. It is necessary to follow the rules made by schools regarding uniforms. After this, many Muslim organizations have expressed their dissatisfaction with the court's decision. Asaduddin Owaisi also said that he is not happy with the High Court's decision and will move the Supreme Court against it.

Asaduddin Owaisi was talking to the media regarding the decision given by the Karnataka High Court on the Hijab controversy, during which Owaisi said that by looking at the uniform, it is known whether the student is Thakur's daughter or Jatav's. He said, 'Many schools do not have uniforms. Does the uniform not tell whether the girl student is the daughter of a Dalit, the daughter of a poor or the daughter of a rich father? Does wearing a uniform not reveal caste whether the student is the daughter of a Thakur or a Brahmin?' On this, when the anchor asked him that by looking at his face, you tell whether he is the daughter of a Thakur or a daughter of a Brahmin? So Owaisi said that he gets to know in school.

Owaisi further said, 'Why did Muslim girls go to the court? Because we want to wear hijab with uniform, we used to wear it earlier. The practice of religious imperative was given by the court. Church schools in England have the freedom to wear the hijab. After this the anchor asked Owaisi whether the courts of this country have become anti-Muslim? So Owaisi said, 'I am not saying this. I disagree with the High Court's decision. I also disagreed with the Supreme Court's decision on the Ram Mandir verdict. Under the Constitution of India, I have the right to disagree with the court's decision.
