The Malenadu Mathadishra Parishad, a association of saints from Malnad region, showed its support to Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa last Saturday. At the same time, he added, "Any leadership change in the state would be more dangerous than the current corona epidemic. In fact, CM Yediyurappa was present at the Shiv Yoga Shram function in Shikaripura taluk last Saturday. Meanwhile, Sir Mallikarjun Murugarajendra of Bekkina Kal Math said, "No one should hamper the functioning of the government properly."

He further said, "If anyone tries to destabilize the government, they will have to bear the consequences. Yediyurappa has faced a lot of problems after becoming chief minister. During his tenure, he has faced floods and corona epidemics. We must appreciate his efforts in effectively tackling these crises". Moreover, the Malenadu Mathadishra Council said, 'They will support Yediyurappa to remain in power till the completion of his term'.

At the same time, the Council further said, 'The leadership change in Karnataka will be more dangerous than the Corona epidemic. Today, Karnataka needs Yediyurappa to tackle a crisis like the Covid epidemic. At the same time, we need a Chief Minister for development works in Shivmogga as well and the saints of Shivamogga are always with Yediyurappa' Let us tell you all that earlier last Saturday, Yediyurappa had chaired a meeting to discuss the situation in Corona in Shivamogga.

In fact, last week, breaking his silence on speculation of a leadership change in the state, Yediyurappa had said, "As long as the Delhi high command has faith in me, I will continue as chief minister. The day they tell me That I have to step down, I will resign and join fully to work for the welfare of the State. They have given me a chance and I am trying to use it to the best of my ability. The rest has been left to the central leadership."
