Famous American actress and pop star Selena Gomez has filed a multi-million dollar lawsuit against the makers of a mobile game company for using her name and her picture without permission. According to the foreign report, Selena has filed a lawsuit against the software and technology firm. The game allows its users to buy 'Diamond' and go on virtual shopping trips with celebrities.

Selena Gomez has alleged that one of the characters is based on her and said that she has never given consent to use her name and picture in any mobile game. It stated in the lawsuit, "The accused never requested, consulted, or informed Gomez about the use of any publicity rights with respect to the game."

The actress is also suing, Guangzhou Feidong Software Technology Company (China-based game seller) and Mutantbox Interactive Limited (the British company that holds the copyright for the game).
