In the last few years, many natural disasters have been seen to wreak havoc all over the world. Now the figure of these disasters is also increasing rapidly. At the same time, in these disasters, millions of people become homeless and millions of people embrace death. Let us tell you all that International Disaster Control Day is celebrated every year, which is on 13 October. In such a situation, today we are going to tell you some special things about it.

First of all, let us tell you that the International Day of Disaster Control started in 1989. At that time the United Nations General Assembly saw the objective of promoting the dissemination of global disasters and awareness, along with methods, solutions and completion of plans. To fulfill this objective, it was decided to celebrate this day. Not only this but at the same time a campaign called Sendai Framework was launched in 2016. It set seven goals to reduce the loss of disasters. Yes and these seven goals are called Sendai Seven.

Let us tell you that the "Sendai Framework" campaign was started by the UNDRR in 2016 and in it a framework of 7 goals was prepared to deal with disasters i.e. to reduce the loss of disasters. Indeed, in addition to reducing disaster losses in the "Sendai Framework", indicators have also been designed to measure progress actions at the affected location. Which all sectors work in unison with governments, local governments, community groups, civil society organizations, private sector, international organizations etc. to reduce the risk of disaster.
