The pensioners of the central government of India will be given three months' pension in advance by the government. According to government officials, three months advance pension will be given to senior citizens, disabled persons and widows. It has been announced on the basis of relief measures proposed by the government to combat the outbreak of coronavirus in the country.

Government raised 11,500 crores from strategic sales of these power companies

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced a relief package of 1.7 lakh crores on Thursday. Under this, he made many big announcements. Among them, the State Governments will be given the freedom to use District Mineral Fund for medical test, screening and other needs to fight against coronavirus. The insurance cover of 50 lakhs will be available to those who are playing their role directly or indirectly in the treatment of coronavirus.

On this announcement, Sitharaman also announced to provide food relief to 80 crore poor and daily laborers under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana. 5 kg wheat or rice was already available, now the government will give 5 kg for free for the next three months. People will get 1 kg pulses of their choice every month for free. According to the government's announcement, farmers who get Rs 6000 under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. They will now get 2,000 rupees directly. This will benefit 8.69 crore farmers.
