Raipur: In Janjgir Champa district of Chhattisgarh, a tragic incident occurred involving senior Congress leader Panchram Yadav, who, along with his family, consumed poison. Panchram Yadav, aged 65, and his family—his wife Dinesh Nandni Yadav (55) and two sons, Suraj Yadav (27) and Neeraj Yadav (32)—all fell critically ill and were initially treated at the district hospital. Due to their deteriorating condition, they were transferred to Bilaspur for further treatment.
Unfortunately, Neeraj Yadav passed away at SIMS Hospital in Bilaspur. Panchram Yadav, Dinesh Nandni Yadav, and Suraj Yadav continued to receive treatment at RB Hospital but also succumbed to their conditions on the night of August 31. The reasons behind this extreme action remain unclear. Panchram Yadav, who worked as a contractor, had previously taken a loan of Rs 40 lakh from two banks and was suffering from heart issues. His wife was battling cancer, and Neeraj Yadav was employed in a private job while Suraj Yadav also worked in contracting.
Locals discovered the incident after a neighbor’s daughter noticed that the family’s house was locked and unresponsive. Upon further investigation, neighbors found the family in a critical state and promptly took them to the hospital. The police have sealed the house and are investigating the case to uncover the reasons behind this tragic event.
