Patna: Raghunandan Lal Bhatia, a former Governor of Bihar and a six-time MP from Amritsar in Punjab, has passed away. In fact, last Saturday, he took his last mother-in-law. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar tweeted his condolences. At the same time, a day's state mourning will be observed in Bihar by the state government for the peace of the soul of Raghunandan Lal Bhatia. He passed away in a private hospital. In this tweet, he wrote, "The news of the passing away of former Bihar Governor Raghunandan Lal Bhatia ji is very sad. He was a skilled politician. His demise has caused irreparable damage to political and social life. The state government will observe a day's state mourning for the peace of the departed soul". He was cremated with state honours at Durgayana Shivpuri last Saturday. In fact, he was also the Governor of Kerala from 2004 to 2008.
