Senior Men National Hockey 2021: Final match between UP-Punjab

UP and Punjab have won the semi-finals to advance to the final of the Senior Men's National Hockey. UP have beaten Karnataka by 2-1 in a close match. Mohammad Amir Khan (4th) and Vishal Singh (8th) scored for UP while Mohammad Raheel scored the only goal for Karnataka in the 22nd minute.

Punjab beat Maharashtra 3-0 in the second semi-final. For Punjab, skipper Rupinder Pal Singh (28th and 46th minutes) scored 2 goals while Sudarshan Singh (38th minute) scored one goal. The third-place match between Karnataka and Maharashtra is scheduled to be played on December 21.

Shortly before, on the second day of the 11th Hockey India Senior Men's National Championship held in Pimpri Chinchwad on Sunday, Roshan Kumar scored five goals to help Hockey Bengal win 8-0 over Goa Hockey. Hockey Bengal beat Goa Hockey 8-0 in the second game of the day of Pool F, with Roshan Kumar scoring an astonishing five goals (2', 4', 53', 54', 59'). Bengal scored three points appreciations to goals from Abhishek Pratap Singh (10', 22') and Santosh Bakla (19').
