Dehradun: In Doiwala police station area of Dehradun, Uttarakhand, sensation spread on Wednesday morning after news of old woman professor's murder surfaced. According to information, the old woman professor Puttal Ghosh (64 years) has been murdered in Athurwala of Doiwala police station area. The regional police reached the spot as soon as information was received about the case. Police have gathered to find out the reason for the murder.

According to the police, there is no confirmation of taking away the goods or robbery after the murder in the house. It was told that the woman lived alone in the house. She came to live from Bengal in 2014. The police have started investing the case with the angle of old enmity. The Inspector Doiwala Suryabhushan Negi said that the case is being investigated. Criminals will be detained soon. The woman's hands were tied, and a window of the house was open. The matter is now being investigated.

On the other hand, corona patients will now be treated with plasma therapy at the Himalayan Hospital Jollygrant in the state. Himalayan Hospital is the first non-government hospital in the state to start this therapy. Only those cured of COVID infection can donate plasma. Vice-Chancellor of Swamiram Himalayan University, Dr Vijay Dhasmana said that in Himalayan Hospital, arrangements have been made for the treatment of COVID patients in a separate building completely different from the normal patients. It has been said that the government has given approval to treat COVID patients through plasma therapy.
