Tuesday;July 5, 2016:The benchmark Sensex fell over 33 points in early trade today . The 30-share barometer declined 33.44 points, or 0.12 %, to 27,245.32, with sectoral indices led by power, realty, auto, capital goods and IT bringing about the fall.

The index had risen over 881 points in the preceding six sessions.

The NSE Nifty was trading lower by 19.50 points, or 0.23 %, at 8,351.20.

According to the brokers said, “apart from profit-booking in recent gainers in an overbought market, a mixed trend in rest of Asia following overnight losses in Europe was mainly responsible for the snap”.

Japan's Nikkei was quoting 0.87 % minor and Hong Kong's Hang Seng fell 0.82 % although Shanghai Composite was up 0.23 % in early deals.
