In early trade today, benchmark BSE Sensex increased 179 pts and the NSE Nifty hiked the 9,900-mark. The 30-share barometer was trading superior by 179 pts, or 0.56%.

However, the NSE Nifty reclaimed the 9,900-mark by rising 50.90 pts in early trade today.

According to the Brokers said, "persistent buying by domestic institutional investors and a firm trend at other Asian markets on fresh hopes Donald Trump will be able to push through market- friendly tax reforms buoyed the sentiment."

The American Dow Jones Industrial Average has finished by 0.14 % higher on last trade on Friday.
