On Monday after posting losses, sensex today rose up in the opening trade. The Indian rupee tracking Asian market rose against the US dollar. The Sensex trades higher by over 150 points at 26,881 while the broader Nifty trades up by 42 points.
BSE Sensex is trading higher by 154 points, or 0.58%, to 26,881, while the Nifty 50 rises 42 points, or 0.51%, to 8,278.IndusInd Bank shares were down 0.24 per cent at Rs 1,156.45.
Bharat Electronics Ltd shares rise 1.5% to Rs1,475 after brokerage firm Credit Suisse has rated the stock with New Outperform and kept its target price at Rs1,800 a share.
