In the early opening trade today the Sensex had rallied. The benchmark BSE Sensex rallied around 162 points.The BSE 30-share barometer surged 161.95 points, or 0.55 percent, to 29,584.34.
The NSE Nifty surged 47.25 points, or 0.51per cent, to 9,183.65.Reliance Industries climbed 1.62 per cent to Rs 1,391.55.
Japan's Nikkei was up 0.86per cent while Hong Kong's Hang Seng rose 0.31 percent.
