Market opens with green mark on the last trading day of the week, Sensex crosses 40000 mark

Mumbai: Today, on the last trading day of the week i.e. Friday, the stock market is seeing an increase. The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) major index Sensex started with a gain of 43.58 points, or 0.11 per cent, at 40226.25. At the same time, the National Stock Exchange (NSE) major index Nifty opened at 11852.05 with a light strength of 0.15 per cent i.e. 17.45 points.

The results of the meeting of RBI MCP are to be announced today for three days. RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das will give information in this regard by holding press talks. There is a possibility that interest rates may be cut once again. This will affect the stock market. Talking about the big stocks, today the shares of Tech Mahindra, Doctor Reddy, HDFC Life and Hero MotoCorp opened with an increase. Hindalco, TCS, Nestle India, IndusInd Bank and GAIL started with the decline.

On the other hand, if we look at the sectoral index, today all sectors except FMCG opened with green mark. These include IT, pharma, media, PSU banks, realty, finance services, metal, auto, banks and private banks. During the pre-open at 9.02 am the Sensex was at 40213.48 after gaining 30.81 points, or 0.08 per cent. The Nifty was at the level of 11848 with a gain of 13.40 points or 1.11 percent.
