Tanel Toom, an Oscar nominee, has completed filming on the sci-fi thriller 'Sentinel,' starring Kate Bosworth and Thomas Kretschmann, in Estonia. Lucien Laviscount and Martin McCann also appear in the film.

It is set in the future on a war-torn Earth, where four troops guard Sentinel, a distant military installation in the middle of a wide ocean separating two warring continents. When a mystery boat comes within range, the simmering tension among them grows as they wait for relief or the enemy.

Toom stated, "Working with such a talented group of performers as Kate Bosworth, Thomas Krestschmann, Lucien Laviscount, and Martin McCann has been an honour. I've been carrying this film about with me for a long time, and I'm thrilled to know that we'll be able to show it to audiences soon."

Altitude Film Entertainment, in collaboration with Head Gear Film and Metrol Technology, presents 'Sentinel,' which also features BR/ARTE, Tallifornia, Ichiban Films, Sentinel Entertainment, and Vertical Entertainment.

The film is produced by Ben Pullen, Ivo Felt, Jorg Bundschuh, Pippa Cross and Matthew James Wilkinson.
