Pune: The cause of the fire at serum institute has not been revealed so far. Let us also tell all of you that this fire occurred last Thursday afternoon and 5 people were reported to have died. Now, on behalf of the Serum Institute, it has also been announced to provide assistance of Rs. 25 lakhs to the families of the deceased. Now, in the meantime, the biggest and relief is that the anti-covid vaccine plant is completely safe and the work of making the covishield vaccine will not be affected. It is also reported that Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray will now visit the spot today.

Apart from them, a team of experts is also going to visit the Pune-based Serum Institute today to investigate the cause of the fire. Last yesterday, BJP MLA Mukta Tilak and Bahujan Vikas Aghadi leader Dr. Prakash Ambedkar, grandson of Bhim Rao Ambedkar, had questioned, "Is the fire started or planted?"

He then made it clear that where there are reserves of anti-corona vaccine and the lab in which the corona-stopping vaccine is being manufactured is completely safe and the production has not been affected. In addition, he also said, "the team of experts will visit the fire-affected plant and the exact cause of the fire will be known only after their investigation.''
