Seth Rollins defeated Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 35 to become the new Universal Champion.With this defeat  Lesnar’s stranglehold on the WWE Universal Championship is over. Lesnar has been a Universal Champion since November when he defeated Braun Strowman at the Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia.

The Rollins has fmanaged to overcome Lesnar and Raw will finally have an active champion. Talking about match, In a short bout, Lesnar initially dominated the proceedings with German and Belly-to-Belly Suplexes. But the “Beast-Slayer” struck back as he hit a low-blow on Lesnar when the referee was distracted outside. Then Rollins put Lesnar away with three impactful Curb Stomps in one of the most memorable show-openers in WrestleMania history.

Lesnar won the Universal Championship in 2017 when he defeated Goldberg at WrestleMania 33. Then he has been a dominant champion for around 2 years. It was thought that Lesnar would lose the title at WrestleMania 34 to Roman Reigns. But Lesnar shocked the world when he defeated the bloodied Reigns. He only lost the championship last year at SummerSlam to the same opponent but Reigns had to give up the title due to leukaemia.  Lesnar has often been criticised for his part-time status and for devaluing the Universal title. But WWE Universe would be pleased to see one of WWE's biggest workhorses, Rollins as the new univeral champion.
