74 new cases of COVID19 surfaced in Himachal Pradesh

Shimla: Seven more COVID-19 infected deaths have been confirmed in Himachal Pradesh. Six of them belong to Kangra and one to Chamba city. In DCH Dharamshala, a 74-year-old person of Chamba Sundla area died. The deceased was referred to Dharamshala on Wednesday from Chamba where he died on Thursday morning. In Tanda, 75-year old COVID-19 infected woman of Taropka Hamirpur, 78 years old of Jawali Kandar, 63 years old of Mandi Ladhabhel, 69 years old of Hamirpur, the old woman of 70 years of Badai Sunauhar and Naiharan Pukhar Dehra Gopipur K aged 58 years died of COVID19.

On Thursday, there are 74 new COVID-19 positive cases in the state. 20 new cases have been reported from Mandi, Shimla 18, Kullu 10, Lahaul-Spiti 3, Hamirpur 6, Bilaspur 10 and Kangra. With this, the total number of infected in the state has reached 13110. The active cases are 3771. So far 9173 patients have become healthy. By Thursday evening, 236 more patients recovered. So far 141 COVID-19 infectives have died. With this, new cases of corona are coming out in the state.

On the other hand, the number of COVID-19 infected in the country is continuously increasing. On Thursday too, 86,508 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the country. 1,129 people have died from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. The number of COVID-19 infected in the country has crossed 57 lakh. According to information released by the Union Health Ministry, there are 966382 active cases of coronavirus at present in the country. 4674987 infected people have been cured out of the total cases.
