Political changes are in big face in Telangana , Siddipet. Let us share that ahead of election result several leaders from Congress and TDP joined TRS in the presence of Finance Minister T Harish Rao in Siddipet on Thursday. Here it is needed to share that Siddipet Municipal elections to be held on April 30. TDP leader Yellu Ravindar along with his 100 followers joined TRS while Congress Party State minority cell Vice-president Vaheed Khan also joined the party.

For this election Harish Rao released list of party candidates for all the 43 wards on Thursday after asking the remaining leaders, who filed their nomination from different wards, to withdraw their nominations. Speaking on the occasion, Harish Rao called upon the people to vote for TRS since the government had changed the face of Siddipet town in the past seven years. “People used to struggle for drinking water before the State was formed. The government is now supplying safe drinking water to all the households in the town,” he said.

However, to be noted that he said the government built a 400-bed government hospital facility in the town with an objective to provide free corporate level treatment to the poor. Saying that the Telangana government is the first in the country to provide pensions to beedi workers, Rao has elaborated various development and welfare works undertaken by the government during the past seven years.
